Hooded Sweatshirts Recalled June 17, 2009

Our Michigan child injury lawyers are reporting that Macy’s Inc. has recalled 33,000 hooded boys and girls sweatshirts.  These sweatshirts are made under its Green Dog and Epic Threads labels.  These were sold from July 2008 through March 2009.

We had previously written about the serious entanglement and choking injuries that can be caused by the drawstrings in hooded sweatshirts when they are caught on playground equipment, especially slides.  Previous serious injuries have been reported from this type of clothing.  Anyone with these Macy’s items should call (888) 257-5949.
