MammaLittleHelper Baby Hammocks Recalled Due To Suffocation Hazard September 3, 2010
Our Michigan child injury lawyersare reporting that baby hammocks manufactured by MammaLittleHelper LLC are recalling about 500 baby hammocks. The recall is due to a possible suffocation hazard. An infant can roll and become entrapped or wedged against the hammock’s fabric and/or mattress pad, resulting in the possible suffocation of the infant.
No injuries or deaths have been reported due to these baby hammocks, however, reports of the hammock becoming unbalanced have surfaced. The hammocks that are being recalled are model numbers 1010, 1020, BL222 and were sold online from May 2008 to February of 2010. If you own model number 1010 and 1020 MammaLittleHelper LLC asks that you stop using them right away and contact them to get a free repair kit. Model number BL222 has no repair kit availaible, and if you own that specific model the product can be exchanged for a new hammock.
