The video was produced by the University of Michigan Transporation Research Institute (UMTRI). The video shows what were to happen to a child if left unrestrained in a car.
In the video you will see a crash test that was conducted using tow 33-pound crash dummies. The dummies ar e representative of 3-year-old children in the rear seat of a vehicle. The crash test simulated a moderate-to-severe crash at about 30 miles per hour where one dummy was restrained a forward-facing, five point harness and one was completely unrestrained.
